Member Benefits

The objective of the
Association is to use all
revenue received to benefit
our members and not to build
a large bank account.

We plan to end each fiscal
year with only enough funds
for seed money to begin the
next year.

We hold six receptions a
year and periodic luncheons
for members and those
interested in becoming
members.

There is no charge to
members for receptions and
a nominal charge for
luncheons since the events
are not intended to be
fundraisers.

RBBA Mission Statement

To improve the quality of life in Rancho Bernardo by promoting
business among our members through mutual support, promotion,
networking, advertising, and customer referrals; creating an
awareness of economic issues and political events that may affect our
members and the community at large; and building a better community
through community service and advocacy.

The RBBA Brief History: Revitalizing the business community
of Rancho Bernardo began April 1, 2006 with the formation of the
Rancho Bernardo Business Association. The Association was initially
established by 35 local business and community leaders and quickly
passed the100-member threshold after its first reception on April 27.

Strategy: The overall strategy of the Association is to encourage
Rancho Bernardo residents to do business locally rather than going
outside the community. This will be accomplished in a variety of
ways.

The Association offers residents the opportunity of free
consultations with professionals about home maintenance, legal
problems, health, taxes, real estate sales and purchases, and other
issues. We stage community events, including holiday events, at local
shopping centers and at other locations in Rancho Bernardo.
